Wedding QR code

A QR code that takes wedding guests to your photos

Turn a table card into an invitation to share. Your event QR code opens the guest entry on a phone, with no app to install.

For your event

The scan is the start of the journey

A QR code is a convenient link, not a separate album or an automatic upload. Guests scan it, join your event under its access rules and select photos to upload. A good card explains all three steps in a few words.

What you can control

Make the card easy to use

01

One destination

Use the same event entry on table cards, the welcome display and your follow-up message. Keep the event code available as a fallback.

02

Readable at the table

Use strong contrast, an uncluttered margin and a practical print size. Test the actual printed card at its intended distance.

03

Access you choose

Guest access needs a display name; sign-in access needs an account. Neither setting is bypassed by scanning a QR code.

From setup to the first photo

Create and test your wedding QR entry

  1. Step 1

    Set up the destination

Create your wedding event and enable gallery uploads. Select access and approval settings before making the cards.

  2. Step 2

    Get the event QR code

Use the event’s QR entry on your printed materials. Add the event code or link for guests who cannot scan.

  3. Step 3

    Try the printed version

Use a phone that is not signed in as the organizer. Join as a guest, upload a test photo and check its gallery visibility.

Practical inspiration

Good places for a wedding photo QR code

  • A card on each reception table
  • The guest-book table
  • The back of the printed programme
  • A welcome display guests can approach
  • A photo corner with a short instruction
  • A post-wedding message containing the link

Sample wording for your table card

“Share your view of our day. Scan, enter your name and add your favourite wedding photos. Thank you for helping us collect the little moments.”

Use a shorter headline than the full instruction. Keep the QR code separate from decorative patterns and include the entry code below it.

Avoid the two common dead ends

Do not send guests to an unfinished gallery with uploads disabled. Do not assume a scanned code makes a photo appear immediately when approval is on.

Venue Wi-Fi and mobile coverage matter. If a guest cannot upload at the reception, send the event link afterwards while event access is still available.

Prepare a QR card guests can actually use

Start with your event, then test the complete scan-to-upload journey before printing.
