Photo Bingo ideas and play

Photo Bingo: a game made from your event’s moments

Give guests a board of photo challenges. Each completed square adds a real picture, turning a small event game into a collection of shared memories.

For your event

What is Photo Bingo?

Photo Bingo is a photo challenge game arranged as a board of prompts. Instead of marking a called number, a participant takes or chooses a photo that fits a square and uploads it. In Eventringo, the organizer chooses the prompts, board size and reveal settings, while guests play in their browser.

What you can control

Choose the game your guests will enjoy

01

A manageable board

Choose 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5. A smaller board suits a short break; more squares suit a longer celebration with varied moments.

02

Prompts with personality

Start from a template and edit it for your people and venue. Mix funny details with group photos, objects and observations.

03

Room to participate quietly

Include decoration and detail prompts alongside people prompts. Guests should be able to join without performing or interrupting the programme.

From setup to the first photo

How to play Photo Bingo in Eventringo

  1. Step 1

    Build your board

Enable Photo Bingo, pick a board size and write or adapt the prompts. Review reveal and approval settings before the event.

  2. Step 2

    Introduce the activity

Share the event entry and explain that each square needs a matching photo. Tell guests whether you are offering a prize or simply collecting memories.

  3. Step 3

    Capture and follow progress

Guests open squares and submit photos. Use the organizer’s progress view to follow participation and review submissions when approval is enabled.

Practical inspiration

Nine prompts for a relaxed first board

  • A group of three smiling people
  • Something in the event colours
  • A detail on your table
  • Someone helping another guest
  • A candid laugh, shared with permission
  • A creative view of the venue
  • Your favourite snack
  • An unexpected matching outfit
  • A moment you want to remember

Funny, gentle or a mixture

For a playful party, try a dramatic dessert portrait or the most enthusiastic dance move. For a quieter event, ask for a favourite detail, a colourful object or the view from a seat.

Avoid prompts involving drinking pressure, embarrassing strangers or photographing someone who has asked for privacy. A board is easier to enjoy when opting out of a prompt is comfortable.

Explain the finish before guests start

If you want a competition, announce your prize and how you will choose a winner. Do not assume participants share the same meaning of “bingo”: a row, a full board and a creative-photo award are different rules.

The app records submissions and progress. Keep your announced event rules consistent with the settings and the progress view you are using.
